  3. The working principle of the mechanical governor: The mechanical centrifugal governor adjusts the speed according to the balance between the spring force and the centrifugal force. During work, the spring force always moves the oil supply rod in the direction of increasing the circulating oil supply; and Centrifugal force always moves the oil supply rod in the direction of decreasing circulating oil supply. When the load decreases, the rotational speed increases, the centrifugal force is greater than the spring force, and the oil supply rod moves in the direction of decreasing circulating oil supply. The oil supply moves in the direction of the increase, the circulating oil supply increases, and the rotational speed increases again. Until the centrifugal force and the spring force are balanced, the oil supply lever remains unchanged, so that the rotational speed is basically stable and varies within a small range.
